Prelude

Originally supposed to be longer with a ton of other stuff attached. (Slowly working on that monster of a project) but this is a prelude of what is to come. 

Lore Blips- (sneak peak for those who actually look at my lore stuff) - Subject to change upon release. I omitted some lore blips to not spoil the story. Below is just what lead up to this nasty situation. 

After a series of unfortunate events, most if not all equipment is damaged or otherwise non-functional. The Emergency Alert System has been malfunctioning by sending off blank messages. The weather radio's SAME header and Attention tone throwing errors that have been cutting off messages and the Only Doppler radar in the area is not functional due to neglect from infrastructure issues in the area. A temporary short range(heavily outdated and frankly obsolete by 100+ years)"Replacement" has been set up but it was set up next to a water tower blocking about 24% of the view to the south west because the truck ran out of fuel during transport to its intended destination. Going off archaic data and obsolete equipment, the Cities hired freelance Storm Chasers to report data from areas deemed a higher risk. Maybe something better or spare parts exist in some garage somewhere so someone can fix the Doppler radar in time but the odds of that is fairly slim.
