JI in beepbox (real) (not fake)
Just intonation (JI) is a tuning in which the intervals between the frequencies all the notes are integer ratios. To do this in BeepBox, I took advantage of the 'harmonics' instrument type, which allows me to get integer multiples of frequencies from a base note (C0). I believe this tactic to be evil and cursed, but it works. Enjoy :D

2026-06-03 · comment #1246You may notice that this claims to be BeepBox and yet the mod listed is JummBox. I had made the entire thing in BeepBox, but BeepBoard would not let me upload a BeepBox song for some reason, so I quickly ported it to JummBox. This has the added benefit that it looks much nicer in the song player, though.
