A Flight Through Cloudy Skies

The third song in my upcoming six-part album Microtonal Mania!. This one was made with 17edo, meaning that each octave is divided into 17ths instead of 12ths. Like 12edo, 17edo has a nice-sounding perfect fifth, meaning you can still get normal major/minor scales (which are made by looping a perfect fifth around an octave). I really like 17edo as a tuning since it has three interval qualities (it features spicy new neutral intervals instead of major and minor!), which all happen to approximate intervals arising from using the 11th harmonic in the harmonic series. I tried to make use of 17edo's cool neutral intervals as well as hyperchromatic runs (hyperchromatic meaning the intervals that are spaced closer apart than in a chromatic scale).
Written in G♯ Aeolian (aka G♯ minor).
