this song plays in my jam game System Shutdown Imminent, when you have an S on the mission report on normal difficulty or above. (it might mayhaps need be noted that the only music in the game occurs in the mission report; the rest of the soundscape is dedicated to ambience.)

2026-03-24 · comment #962well, the jam was two weeks, with the last week being the judging period, but we were still permitted to update the game. so some time during the last week, I wanted to make some music for the end-screen to accommodate for the lack of music during gameplay, as the only "music" aside from the end-screen is an ambient droning.
as for why it's high-quality, I dunno. but i mean I've been making music for a long time. then I guess i got "lucky" this time and made something good. also I suppose this style of music comes fairly naturally to me.
